I received my Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university in Bangladesh, the University of Asia Pacific. I graduated with a Master's in Urban Planning (MUP) from the City University of New York at Hunter College.
I have the theoretical framework to understand the various issues about urban planning, the skills necessary for planning-related research, statistical and analytical studies, and proficiency with visualization and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and AutoCAD.
Currently, I am a planner for the City of Detroit in Michigan.
As a Planner, I am interested in developing Diverse, Equitable, Public spaces and Sustainable Communities. As an Urban Designer, I am committed to creating vibrant, climate-resilient, accessible, and inclusive communities. I intend to gain more experience developing comprehensive long-range planning.
